Captain Cool

Dhoni finishes off in style. A magnificent strike into the crowd. India lifts the World Cup after 28 years. The party has started in the dressing room. And, it is an Indian captain who has been absolutely magnificent, on the night of the final. Hearing Ravi Shastri’s commentary from the night of April 2, 2011 never fails to give me goosebumps, and a big smile follows. The iconic moment from 2011 ( Image Source ) Almost a decade later, every Indian cricket fan fondly remembers that moment. With it lies, deep in our memory, the still of a highly decorated batsman holding his pose as he watches the cricket ball soar into the stands and fulfill the dreams of a whole country of people. The look in that batsman’s eyes seems to be happiness, contentment, and a bit of disbelief all mixed up in a ball and sugar-coated with a generous layer of calmness. READ IT, TO LEARN IT

My experience of how reading content built my base for English If you can read this, congratulations. You know the English language. Or is it too early to make a claim that you "know" it? Well, if you do not want to go that length and make that claim, how about this – if you have made it this far, you’re surely learning something new or different, if you already didn’t know. What just happened? You were reading a piece of content, and your brain received it, processed it, analyzed its meaning and interpretation, and you “understood” it. If it were new information, you learnt something. If it were something you knew, your brain tried to utilize its knowledge and find any errors. Reading any kind of content, in my opinion, always gets your brain working, and you tend to gain something out of it. If the content is of high quality, let’s say a novel by a renowned writer, you stand to benefit much more. I would like to take this opportunity and express my views on how sim
